Firefox 3.6.4 provides uninterrupted browsing for Windows and Linux users when there is a crash in the Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime or Microsoft Silverlight plugins. If a plugin crashes or freezes, it will not affect the rest of Firefox. You will be able to reload the page to restart the plugin and try again. More information

In Firefox 3.6.4 and above, some plugins are loaded separately from Firefox in plugin-container.exe, allowing the main Firefox process (firefox.exe) to stay open if a plugin crashes. More information

This is the plugin-container for the Firefox web browser. It is the program that loads plugins, such as Adobe Flash. It is loaded into its own memory space, separate from the main program, so that if the plugin encounters an error and crashes, the browser itself will not crash (therefore eliminating the need to restart the browser and recover lost work).

Safe addition to Firefox. It does not take many resources, makes the viewer is stable if there are problems with plug-ins. Trustworthy.
