This is the status monitor manager for the Samsung ML-2010 Mono Laserprinter. It's a non-essential process that runs at startup through the HKLM registry key Run for all users. If you use your Samsung Laserprinter a lot, it's best to leave this setting as is. | |||

I use the Samsung Status Monitor. I get the shut down "error" as well. Good to know what it is. | |||

this is also related to some dell printers and is know to not shut down properly when logging off. | |||

The SSMMgr.exe process uses 100% of my CPU whenever I log on with a user that don't have the administrator role. Probably due to poor programming from Samsung. They know design but they don't know how to code well. | |||
