| this program was installed when i signed up with at&t for a dsl connection on a desktop pc that did not have a wi-fi card installed on it. at&t gave me a wireless usb adapter to connect to the internet with so at start-up, the pc loads the 2wire software automatically. however, once the software for the usb wi-fi adapter was installed, the windows network connection program also recognizes the wi-fi adapter and can connect to the internet using it too. bottom line: the 2wire wi-fi internet software for connection to the internet is slower and sometimes unrealiable while the windows network connection is faster and very reliable. i chose to turn off the 2wire wireless manager at start up. | |||
