Not a required stat-up file. Provides motherboard powersaving functionality that can be achieved with Windows. Can cause ad hoc reboots under XP.

Ai Nap is a motherboard controller that puts the system into a sleep mode, maximizing the power savings available. Having used the Windows "sleep mode" and Ai Nap no reboots have been made to date. I find it very useful, non harmful and free of "defects" anyone using an ASUS motherboard should be using this as far as I am concerned.

Had no problem under Vista x64, does it's job of putting PC into sleep mode and awakens with any movement of mouse or key board; at least on my present PC unlike other versions of Microsoft OS's.

Fine for Admin but can cause other annoying messages for other Users (ie. guest) that keep popping up even when closed by guest.

Very useful tool but buggy software that causes my Windows 7 x64 crash after a while. Like a sleep mode, but it does not turn off hard drive, networking, and RAM, so you can download overnight with low power. You don't need to have it in start up, just run the program as you need it.

Fine, never caused me a problem. Not much need for it though, so if it used up much overhead would probably try disable/remove it. But it doesn't, so it's okay.
