tonjac3591, deleting the respective task in the scheduler won't cause any issue, because the task couldn't do anything due to the missing program AutoWorkplace.exe. However, you need to pay special attention, which task you delete in "Workplace Join". At a migrated Windows 10 system you will find the "faulty" one with action on "%SystemRoot%\System32\AutoWorkplace.exe" and the new one with action on "%SystemRoot%\System32\dsregcmd.exe. Only delete the task for AutoWorkplace.exe. While I hoped a Microsoft Support person would pick this up and come up with additional background information why the "Workplace Join" procedure has been changed with Windows 10, I have to admit, that such silly errors are not limited to Microsoft. In the past I have seen similar remnants in the task scheduler from Sony or Epson. | |||
