"Travail de définition de service de mise à jour de l'heure Media Center privilégié." Pas vraiment du Français, mais cela concerne media center et je ne l'utilise jamais donc désactivé.

ehprivjob.exe It is a system file that is sometimes installed with Windows. When Windows starts, it would be in the scheduled task list. It should be around 213 KB to 289 KB in size. It is started by the services.exe process. HOWEVER... ehprivjob.exe works with Microsoft Media Center's Digital TV Tuner device registration application, which is used with "EHome". EHome is a part of Windows Media Center, and it has an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG), to be set up with a ZIP code. If you have no ZIP code because you are not in the USA (or if not using a VPN into the USA) then you can't use EPG. THEREFORE: If you do not use Digital Cable Services, if you have no computer TV tuner card (especially if you do not use Windows Media Center) then you do NOT need this file running, or even starting up. There _is_ a small possibility that if you've never installed Media Center, or if your computer is not equipped with a TV tuner card, then it may be malware - _especially_ if the filesize is incorrect. Here's Microsoft's description of the file: “With Windows Media Center and the right hardware, it's possible to watch and record premium digital cable channels from your cable provider. However, setting up a computer to do this can be an advanced task. Here are answers to some common questions about setting up your computer to receive digital cable. The Digital Cable Advisor is a tool in Media Center that you can use to analyze your computer hardware to determine whether it meets the minimum requirements for watching and recording digital cable. This includes your computer's performance and display capabilities, as well as the available connection types.” SO... Since I don't use Media Center, none of the applications in the C:\\Windows\\ehome\\ directory are needed at all. I personally would turn it off. If you are seeking to squeeze more power out of your computer, there are more efficient media players which can be had at no cost.
