I leave it in startup until it runs once or twice, get ypur SB card working well, then disable or remove from 'startup list'. You can get help later if tou need it from website or restart this program later if you want..

people will tell you that ctxfihlp is needed, but its only purpose is to automatically switch between speaker and headphone settings automatically, which BTW has never worked for me anyway. I always go into the Creative Console Launcher and manually change the settings (equates to 3 clicks of the mouse), so I'll just keep doing the manual switch as usual. However, now my machine shuts down in seconds as opposed to minutes.
