Yeah, but its non-essential. I removed it from regedit\\LocalMachine\\...\\run to free system resources. I can always run it if needed | |||

Sol.1: Uninstall the program from Add/Remove Programs. Download the latest version of Dell Support Center. Sol.2: If Sol.1 does not work. Then, clear startup. restart the sys. uninstall it. and reinstall it. | |||

I'm having the same problem with sprtcmd.exe and also have XP Service Pack 3. If sptcmd.exe loads automatically at startup it locks up my Earthlink internet taskbar and won't let me disconnect from the internet. When you finally control/alt/delete past it and shut down your computer, you then get the annoying popup window that you have to click to End Program. Lousy Gremlin | |||
