I had the shutdown error with SPRTCMD and went to the Dell site. They advised that MS Net framework must be installed. did the Netframework install and problem hasn't returned. More information

most peole who know their way around pcs will never use this. it is glitchy in xp but vista works with it perfectley. if you clueless i would suggest using this tool.

I kept getting the following popup with Vista Home Premium OS: Sprtcmd.exe - Entry Point Not Found: the procedure entry point DOOPENPIPESTREAM could not be located in the dynamic link library ScrRun.dll This was happening after a dell support update in Nov 08. I blocked this program in start up. Problem solved. Any other solotion from DELL?

Everytime I restart my PC & sometimes it locks up my PC . Message comes up Sprtcmd.exe .net Frame V4.0.30319 . Contact your application publisher for instruction .Do I need this program & what for ? I have a Dell Dimension E521 . Vista Windows 32-bit 3GB Dual core processore 3600
