| Felix is a computer pet cat. It's an inch or so high and falls or wanders about the screen innocently doing cat things. He can be set to start with Windows or started manually. Felix uses little memory (3500kb typical) or CPU cycles. For cat lovers, Felix is a pleasant diversion while the PC is doing common tasks. This version looks a bit like my old kitty, so there's a minor personal attachment. My old version of Felix is not malware and AV scans have proved that. Can't say about newer versions, which maybe much more invasive. I see he's an Adtools Inc. critter and I've never looked up what else he does, though I may've stripped out the report to Adtools parts. Felix isn't very useful, but he does indicate if the PC is locked up or not (by not moving). | |||
