| Useful to keep running if your laptop doesn't have specific indicators on your keyboard. otherwise, not needed for functionality, you'll just be running a little blind for the volume meter. | |||

| HP On Screen Display. It runs the small pop-up volume and screen brightness dialog boxes on HP machines (possibly other things). Only 372 KB, so it is virtually invisible to your memory and does not slow your computer. | |||
