| if its a registered (full) version leave it to run on startup as it auto scans if its just the free or trial version it only runs when you tell it to scan, thus its better to disable running at startup (as it doesnt do anything by itself) and just run it when you need it. | |||

| once again, why others have not flagged this as trustworthy is yet again beyond me...it is the startup file for malwarebytes anti malware, a MAJOR antimalware / spyware / really nasty virus finding application... if you EVER use malwarebytes anti malware, mbam for short, then you NEED to leave this running. even if you rarely use mbam, LEAVE THIS RUNNING...makes it a lot less of a pain to update. | |||
