If someone is going to work on your computer remotely and using the program that windows has to do so it would be needed. But you dont want anyone gaining access so remove it. Go to filehippo and for free download and install teamviewer its free and easy to use. Read the download area carefully look to your far right of the screen below the page header will be the files for team viewer that is free to try for ever. Make sure that it is teamviewer and when you install it dont automatically load at startup, just keep a shortcut on your desktop to use as needed so it does not bogg your system down.

I second Kathryn's choice. The program is small and does not install. It simply 'runs' when you double click it. very low resource usage when in use. It's a very old program,, tried and tested. Rock solid. Too much bad things happening to good people these days. Information that Kathryn has provided is invaluable. I remember surfing the web on NetComm with a 14.4K modem (which was Blazing fast then) on my home brew Intel-based 486/100 with a mind-boggling 32MB RAM and a 320MB IBM hard disk drive on IDE! There are many thing I can remember and so can compare them to now and it's terrifying what's happening. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your post Kathryn. No disrespect intended, just trying to get the word out. Americans need to learn and fast. We need to fight back, where nobody else will for us. These jerks are stealing more than our money.
