| Not needed for the main Wondershare program to run. This is basically bundled adware and can be safely deleted from the 'Common Files' folder as well as from the registry. | |||

| This file remained behind and was started running from the registry even after uninstalling the Wondershare program. | |||

| WondershareCompactHelper.Exe is installed as part of Wondershare application software, such as their Video Converter. Compact Helper constantly runs as a background process. It installs a registry key under Registry - xxx - Windows - Run that allows Compact Helper to start up with Windows. COMPACT HELPER IS UNNECESSARY FOR RUNNING WONDERSHARE SOFTWARE. I disabled Wondershare Compact Helper without any ill effects to my Wondershare application software. | |||
